coordinate geometry to design a virtual tour or model that explains a historic Georgia site\u2019s historical value and helps with preservation efforts?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Student Task: Students tackle the challenge of preserving Georgia\u2019s historical sites by creating a narrated virtual walking tour of a Georgia state park, historical site, historical reserve, or other significant location. Each student team selects a site, researches its history, and identifies five important stops to highlight in their tour. Using mapping tools, students calculate distances between stops, create motion graphs (distance\u2013time and velocity\u2013time), and connect the history of the site to a physics or chemistry concept of their choice.
