Noel Cochran
Principal
My name is Noel Cochran, and I am honored to introduce myself as the new principal of North Hall Middle School. I am excited to become part of the Trojan family.
Throughout my career in education, I have had the privilege of serving in a variety of roles; teacher, coach, assistant principal. For the past three years, I have been the proud principal of Tesnatee Gap Elementary School in White County. Each of these experiences has strengthened my passion for serving students, supporting teachers, and partnering with families to help every child succeed.
My husband, Brad, is a teacher at Gainesville Middle School and serves as the assistant girls basketball coach at Gainesville High School. We have two energetic boys, Chandler (7) and Monroe (5), who keep us busy and remind us every day of the importance of creating schools where children feel safe, supported, and inspired to learn.
I am thrilled to join the incredible staff at North Hall Middle School and look forward to building relationships with our students, families, and community. Together, we will continue the tradition of excellence.
Go Trojans!
Chris Haynes
Assistant Principal
Athletic Director
I am honored to serve as an assistant principal at North Hall Middle School. I attended both North Hall Middle School and North Hall High School as a student, so returning to the North Hall community in this role is especially meaningful to me.
I began my teaching career in 2006 at Gainesville Middle School, where I spent five years teaching Social Studies, Physical Science, and Special Education. I then spent 11 years teaching at North Hall High School. During my time at NHHS, I served as the Advanced Placement Coordinator, department head, and a member of the leadership team before making the move “down the hill” to North Hall Middle School.
I have served as an assistant principal and athletic director at North Hall Middle School since 2022. I enjoy going out and watching our amazing student athletes throughout the year. Building meaningful connections with students and staff is an important part of my work at the middle school, and I value every opportunity to support and encourage our school community.
I am married to my amazing wife, Suzanne, and we have two children, Will and Caroline. When I am not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family, listening to great music, and participating in activities that allow me to be outdoors. I particularly enjoy running my bird dogs, Liberty, Gypsy, and Scarlet and competing with them.
Kimberley Nash
Assistant Principal
I am honored and excited to serve my home community of North Hall. A proud graduate of North Hall High School, I attended Mercer University in Macon, Georgia. After graduating from Mercer with a B.A. in English and History, I received my teaching certification from The University of Georgia. I also have a Master of Arts degree in Middle Grades Social Studies as well as an Education Specialist degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Piedmont College. In 2019, I received my Doctor of Education degree from Piedmont College in the area of Curriculum and Instruction.
Before entering the field of education, I worked in college admissions and information technology. I began my teaching career in 2007 at C. W. Davis Middle School in Flowery Branch where I taught 7th and 8th grade Social Studies, Science, and Math. I joined the faculty of North Hall Middle School in August 2014. During my time at NHMS, I have taught all three grade levels, multiple subjects, and have served our students and staff through various roles including E2 Co-Coordinator.
My husband and I have two sons who attend school in the North Hall cluster. I love being outdoors and traveling with my family. I have a deep love for students and am honored to serve our North Hall students, family, and community in my new role as Assistant Principal. Go Trojans!
