Academic Teams
The NHMS Academic Team has been a long-standing tradition in our school. Our team has won numerous county and regional championships.  The Academic Team is coached by Lori McBride.

The Academic Team competes against all other middle schools in Hall County during the fall season. Students answer questions based on math, science, social studies, language arts, and general trivia. The team is open to all grade levels and each level participates in both the A and B teams. In addition to the fall season, there are spring practices for sixth and seventh graders who are interested in being on the team the next year.

FCA – Fellowship of Christian Athletes
FCA is a wonderful experience for all who attend. FCA meets every Thursday morning from 7:40-8:15. We have a guest speaker each week from different churches in the community. We sing fun, uplifting songs that everyone enjoys. There are many students involved in FCA, whether they are leading, singing, or just helping clean up. Everyone tries to help out. Anyone who wishes to attend is welcome to come to our FCA programs. Contact Patricia Smith, Laura Kirby for more information.

4-H Club
The mission of Georgia 4-H is to assist youth in acquiring knowledge, developing life skills, and forming attitudes that will enable them to become self-directing, productive and contributing members of society. This mission is accomplished, through “hands on” learning experiences, focused on agricultural and environmental issues, agricultural awareness, leadership, communication skills, foods and nutrition, health, energy conservation, and citizenship. The 4-H youth development educational program supplements the training young people receive in the home, church, and school.  4H meets on a Tuesday once a month in Mrs. Durham’s classroom.  Please visit the 4-H website for complete information and dates.

Partners in Education
North Hall Middle is so pleased to have a terrific group of Partners in Education. They provide many extras for NHMS, such as incentives for all “A” students, mentors, and teacher appreciation items. Please let these companies know how much you appreciate what they do, as you patronize their businesses.
